Activity rarely translates to achievement without direction.

This being said, think of your goals as a sort of business plan for your life. ust like a business plan or pro-forma gives the lender and investor some insight into where the proposal is going, what its intentions are and how the company is going to accomplish those goals, writing your goals down helps you give yourself a clearer picture of what you’re after. Walking close to God will make sure you’re after the right thing.

To write, you must think, and writing these thoughts down creates some distance between them and yourself. Once you’ve written some goals and outlined some strategies, read them as if someone came to you to borrow money to achieve those goals, and then revise, rethink, and rewrite. As you do this, you will gain clarity not only as to your goals, but also as to how best to achieve them.
