One of the clearest signs of a true prophet of God is that their word ALWAYS comes to pass. This was true of Samuel as a CHILD, yet we are ready to grasp for excuses as adults, while at the same time claiming to be seasoned prophets. Some will argue that we’re under the new covenant, we’re under grace, etc. Why would a BETTER covenant make us WORSE prophets? Grace caused the early church to abound in miracles, but can’t enable prophetic accuracy? The core truth of the inaccurate prophet is they either haven’t learned how to shut up and wait for the leading of the Holy Spirit with regard to what to say, when to say it and whom to say it to, or they are just making stuff up in an effort to impress people and promote their ministry.
Under the guise of ‘fairness,’ judges in California can now opt to not require people who sexually abuse children to register as sex offenders. Why is this a big deal?
It means that, when they apply for a job working with children, or in your church, their background check will not show that they are a convicted pedophile. This is very strategic spiritual warfare. The enemy is preparing for a massive mobilization of sexual predators to infiltrate and abuse children, people who will now be able to continue to abuse children sexually because their conviction status can be concealed.
Yet even this will not alarm the church into praying or taking decisive action in the political arena, because for decades we have been under leadership which is either compromised, complacent, or part of a vast conspiracy within the ranks of church leadership to destroy Christianity from within. This is why so much of the teaching in churches is so weak on faith and strong on humanism.
It is time for a new kind of leadership to emerge.
Will you be a part of it?
Under Moses many wonderful things were promised to God’s people, from prosperity to health and long life. In Christ, however, we have a better covenant than the one delivered by Moses, yet so often we settle for less than what God has promised us. Little flock, remember today that your covenant with God was settled at Calvary, in three words:It is finished.Your healing, your breakthrough, your finances, and everything you could ever pray for was answered at the cross. This is why we are told ‘Do not doubt, only believe.’
The answers you need are not a matter of IF but WHEN.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2)
It is God’s will for you to prosper! This doesn’t necessarily mean you will be rich, but it does mean that you will have more than enough. Now, there are some seasons in which we may endure hardship, and others may do so for a lifetime for the kingdom’s sake, but nevertheless, there should be some kind of success in your life, though this verse is greatly misunderstood.
We must remember that this was written by a fisherman in the 1st century AD in a world that hadn’t yet been overtaken by our postmodern, western sensibilities with regard to the meaning of prosperity. To prosper was to succeed at and flourish in what you were doing: to a fisherman, this meant catching enough fish to meet his needs and live comfortably. For a farmer, it meant good harvests. It didn’t necessarily mean the fisherman or famer would become rich. It DID mean they’d have more than enough.
Does God bless people? YES, and I certainly hope He blesses you greatly, both with finances and the good sense and wisdom to use His blessings to benefit the kingdom.
This said, let us address the last 5 words of this verse, ‘even as thy soul prospereth.’ The priority is for your soul to prosper. Are you growing? Are you becoming like Christ? Do you even know your kingdom mission, and are you presently able to undertake it? Your blessing is found in that Promised Land called Your Purpose, and with the blessing of God comes the responsibility of stewardship. God will no more entrust the immature saint with the stewardship of great blessings than a good parent would trust their five year old to drive a Lamborghini.
Even the greatest of God’s blessings in this life are but for a moment in the light of Eternity, but you are a Son forever, and this ought to be our priority: growth in our Sonship. Let God deal with you. Let Him mold you. Let Him grow you. No detail of your life escapes His intention, and no concern of yours is too great or small for His grace. Remember, the Blessing of Abraham is your birthright in Christ, and to Abraham He said, ‘You shall BE a blessing.’ Let God prosper your soul, and the rest MUST follow in due course.
Yes, it IS God will for you to be blessed. It is His will for you to have more than enough, but it is His higher priority for you to become more than enough.
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his wayMatthew 13:25
We are facing an existential crisis for bother the church and America as a nation, a time in which a violent Marxist ideology has arisen, complete with financial and logistical support from enemies abroad, and the full complicity of the mainstream media. How then, did this happen so suddenly?
The truth is that it didn’t happen suddenly. Like the tares, they were sowed early in the modern era, and it is now too late to merely uproot them, but we will rather face them in harvest. We can better understand this if we know just what tares are. They are not just any weed, but rather they are bearded darnel, a weed that so closely resembles wheat that they can go undetected until the ear of the wheat appears, and uprooting them will also uproot the wheat.
They also contain a strong soporific poison. That is, it can cause a “drunkenness” of a sort: staggering, impaired speech, trembling, vision defects, and stupefaction, and can even prove fatal. However, it may not even be this rye grass itself which produces the poison, but a fungus which infects it. Similarly, we as a church and as a nation have many individuals who have been ‘infected’ with ideologies, beliefs, or even doctrine which have caused us to spiritually slumber or be stupefied. Indeed, we have been asleep.
Why do I say this? While this violent ideology and other toxic elements have infiltrated our nation and even much of the church, on a national level we busied ourselves with enticing doctrines of self-help and and a self-absorbed prosperity that robbed us of the godly priorities of the genuine Christian faith. While God can and does prosper us, mere worldly prosperity ought not to have been such a priority to the near-exclusion of the essential doctrines of the wrath of God, His sovereign grace, and the call to repentance and surrender to the Lordship of Christ.
Essentially, what happened was that for several decades our priorities have been largely so self-absorbed that we exalted success over sacrifice, prosperity over piety, and self-worth over self-denial. As a result, we failed to make disciples of men as we might have otherwise done, and have greatly fallen short in our equipping of the disciples that we did bring into the fold, resulting in a church population of which 90% admits to being either carnal or a babe, according to studies done by the Barna Group.
Since the Scriptures tell us that those who are carnal cannot inherit the kingdom of God (Gal. 5:21), and a baby can hardly be entrusted with any serious responsibility, this means we as a church in America are mostly either on our way to hell or incapable of fulfilling our purpose.
What, then, do we do? We must seek God, ask Him to reveal our hearts to us, to uncover even the most subtle of sin in our lives, that we may repent to our very core and be purified so that we can pursue unhindered the purpose of God for our lives.
The Spirit and the Bride say, Come.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)
What does it really mean to take up your cross?
At the time Jesus said this, if you saw a man carrying a cross out of town, you knew one thing for certain: he wasn’t coming back. Likewise, if we are to take up our cross, the man you were, the man you would be without Christ, that man your flesh wants you to be, must DIE.
This is not an option. It is not some ‘level’ of maturity or of special status in the kingdom, but rather it is the minimum requirement to follow Christ.. and it is good.
There are two kinds of people: those who are dead in sin, and those who are dead to sin. Which will you be today?
And they shall not take of the a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate forever.Jeremiah 51:26
The church and its leaders do not understand the severity of the situation America faces right now. I opened my Bible, and my eyes fell on the verse above, just as I had been messaging back and forth with a dear saint about the various camps there are in the church with regard to America and judgment.
Now, I am not saying that America is absolutely doomed. Rather, I saw a great smoking ruin, and a devastation that could not be undone. I believe what I saw was what would happen if we as a nation were to receieve what we deserve for our national sins, which are abundant. However, at the same time, I am persuaded that we are, as a nation being called to repentance after decades of stubborn refusal to turn from our sins as a nation, from the more obvious sins of unnecessary wars and abortion, to the stealthier, pervasive sins of accepting moral turpitude as normal and the absolute corruption of industries who could do great good but choose instead to suppress beneficial innovations for the sake of profit and control, or which use their influence to steer the culture further into sin.
What we are seeing in this nation, from violence in the streets, to rogue governors imposing tyrannical orders and teachers refusing to go back to work unless police are defunding is a manifestation. Every “sleeper” of what the nation had thought was a fringe element of Marxist radicals has been awakened and activated. Yet there is more to this than Marxism.
Marxism, and the violent, oppressive movements it engenders, serves as a prophetic sign of deep, absolute bondage. In America, what has allowed to fester has now become systemic, like an infection which is ignored and becomes gangrene. Spiritually, this is like a man being taken over by the demonic influences he has allowed to have room in his life. At some point, he is no longer in control, but rather ruled by the impulses of the spirits which have taken root in his life. Likewise, as nation, an interconnected set of rdical ideologies have festered and now have momentum, with little indication that they will be stopped.
I asked the Lord, “Will you slay the just with the unjust?” and was met with silence. I then asked, “If there were 50 righteous, would you still destroy it?”
The number needed is higher, and the horrifying truth is that because so much sin has been tolerated, even encouraged, in the church, the real number of the authentically righteous is so low that national judgment cannot be averted.
Is it therefore hopeless? No. We must all repent, and call others to repentance. We must humble ourselves, repent even of the cultural influences we have made into idols, and allow God to remake our hearts as He intended.
It is primarily those of us who are leaders in the church who must repent. The fathers among us must rend their hearts before God and turn from sin in every way, even many things we have not even regarded as sin, from our self will in how we have led His people, to the commercialization of the Faith.
Repent and turn, leaders, or you will indeed be among the first partakers of what is coming.
I was in worship, and in a moment of time the Lord showed me a vision depicting the spiritual state of much of the leadership in the contemporary church. Later, He said to me, ‘I am breaking the illusion.’
I stood on a cliff, high, but not at the top of a great mountain, and saw a vast plain before the sea. Far below was the leadership of the church, at ground level, with a scant few on small hills. They looked out to sea, and seemed unaware of the mountain at their backs. They had neither the courage to go into the deep, nor the awareness to climb the heights, but they stood there, some in smug satisfaction with where they stood.
The awful truth, hidden under many layers of pious phraseology, shallow theology, and a great many convincing but learned behaviors which can create an image of maturity, is that much of the leadership of the church has not matured, has not been delivered, and is not purified from many of the sinful influences of the world. Some of these influences are so pervasive, so subtle, that we are not only able to discern them for what they are, but we even embrace and defend them as inherent to our culture, character, temperament, or whatever ‘necessities’ we may conjure up to excuse ourselves from the inconvenient burdens of a guilty conscience.
God is again calling us to examine ourselves. We are often unable to adequately address the issues of our time and our culture because we are on the same level as the culture itself. We have not launched away from it into the depths, nor have we risen above it, and we are usually unaware that we are more submitted to culture than to Christ. There is a deeper repentance needed, so that we will realize where we have been, and that it is low. There is a further purification necessary to be able to address the culture from a heart uncluttered by that culture and unfettered by carnality.
Arise, repent, and be purified, so that you can become who God intended you to be. A lost and broken world awaits you.
I gave my new journal a title. The Great Awakening. The Lord has been taking me into a different place prophetically as of late, away from the personal prophecy flow we’re largely used to in the church, and into a place of prophetic insight into culture, politics, and religion.
I’m seeing some things which I’m not yet ready to articulate, but which I think may be instrumental to a spiritual awakening unlike any I’ve witnessed thus far.
A lot of what He will give me to share will make you uncomfortable. It may even offend you. But I will go there. Because someone has to.
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.Psalm 1:1-3
I passed under my apple trees and noticed that my apples are now less than an inch across. In another 10-12 weeks, they’ll probably be edible.I don’t water my apple trees, because this property has springs of water under it, less than 20 feet down. This is what sustains all the blueberry, strawberry, chokeberry and dewberry bushes here. They require no effort from me… I just have to pick the berries.
Likewise, God is calling us to put your roots down in Him. Becoming who He intends us to be isn’t about striving.
When you love God above all, fruit is inevitable.
And just like with an apple tree, the fruit can go further than you will.
Now regarding your question about the money being collected for God’s people in Jerusalem. You should follow the same procedure I gave to the churches in Galatia.. On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.. When I come, I will write letters of recommendation for the messengers you choose to deliver your gift to Jerusalem. And if it seems appropriate for me to go along, they can travel with me.1 Corinthians 16:1-4
If we understand this and other scriptures on the subject of giving, there are 6 essential components to Scriptural giving.
- Thoughtful, and therefore intentional Paul instructed the churches to plan their giving. This prevented hastiness and the ensuing lack of order that poor planning creates, so that giving was orderly, and the funds were ready to be used appropriately. We ought to consider what our intention is in giving. What prayers, hopes, and motives accompany it? What needs are we addressing? Do we see it as an act of worship toward God as we support the work of His ministry?
- Accountable We should also note that Paul also thought it best for the funds to be delivered by people from that church., which ensured that a full accounting could be made for the funds and how they were used. As a very wise man once said, a clean conscience has no fear of accountability.
- Proportionate Paul tells the church to set aside a portion of the money they have earned, not all of it. While there may be times people can make a sacrifice, Biblical examples of such are always voluntary (Luke 21-1-4, e.g.). Therefore, we should comprehend that giving should be in proportion to our ability (Deut. 2:7, 2 Cor. 8:11, e.g.).
- Prayerful If giving is part of our worship, then it ought to be approached prayerfully, that the Holy Spirit wold guide us, and that we remain mindful of needs we may be able to help meet. This is also to safeguard our motives in giving, that it be done with a pure heart. Remember, the sacrifice of the wicked is abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 15:8).
- Cheerful Each person should do as he has decided in his heart — not reluctantly or out of compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work . (2 Cor. 9:7-8, CSB) This doesn’t mean we should try to be happy about our giving, but rather that we should give as we are able so that we can be cheerful about it. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. In this Scripture we can see God’s graciousness to us even in our responsibility to give, that He doesn’t desire to lay heavy burdens upon us, but intends for us to have joy in giving as we grow in grace and ability.
- Responsible Givers should be informed about the characteristics, motivations, capacity, aspirations and needs of the organisations they are giving to. They should consider the impact that their giving will have and the outcome it is meant to achieve, and pray that grace is given for the funds to be used wisely and well.

Beware any ‘prophetic’ movement which encourages you to ‘try’ to prophesy, or to ‘exercise the prophetic muscle.’ There was NEVER any prophet in scripture who was in right standing with God who ever needed to TRY or exercise in prophecy. Either the Word of the Lord came to them, or it did not.The basis for all REAL prophecy is not only that GOD has revealed something to someone, but that he has directed them to disclose what he revealed. (Deut 18:20). Nowhere in Scripture does any holy prophet of God draw on any source other than God for inspiration. Some will say God told Jeremiah ‘What do you see?’ God said that because he was showing Jeremiah something. When Daniel interpreted dreams or the writing on the wall, he interpreted messages which came from God, and relied ONLY on God for inspiration. When a priest would inquire of the Lord and the Urim and Thummim were used, they were never a source of inspiration, but merely a means by which God answered ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ They inquired of the LORD. The only incidents in scripture in which people used objects or images to inspire them with regard to their spiritual life are ALWAYS incidents involving idolatry, witchcraft, and false prophetic utterance.Call this ‘book smarts’ if you want, there are no idle details in the word of God, and the Holy Spirit inspired its authorship. Therefore, any patterns and paradigms therein are present with a purpose, and not to be disregarded. If it was the Holy Spirit who inspired these very specific things to be written, the Holy Spirit would not be ‘leading’ people into ‘prophetic’ practices which are contrary to the proclamations, prohibitions, prescriptions, patterns, and paradigms of HIS book. Many are being drawn into this deception, and are inevitably snared by the new age witchcraft which has become so common in charismatic circles today. Brethren, please pray for eyes to be opened… this deception runs far deeper in the church world than you may suspect.
After working in the garden this morning, I heard ‘The stage is being set.’
And much like a Broadway play, we have for years looked on what was going on around us in the world with indifference, amusement, or a degree of outrage that wasn’t quite enough to move us to meaningful action. Many flocked to whatever ministry most closely fit our preferences, biases, or opinions, and entertained ourselves with light shows, smoke machines, and a great deal of acivity that kept us busy, but not productive as a Body.
During these last few decades, the human agents of the Enemy took over the institutions of education, government, entertainment, and commerce. They used Hollywood as a prophetic voice to mold public opinion and normalize what just half a lifetime ago was distasteful, repulsive, or even unthinkable.
At the end of last year, I’d delivered a prophetic word that God had fired much of the church leadership. Shortly after, churches were closed down by government officials, and in some states they are trying to keep them closed for another year. Others, like DeBlasio in New York City, are threatening permanent closures. Most of the pieces are in place to force the institutional church to either comply with the ways of the world, or go underground.
What I’m saying now might have been thought of as crazy even a few months ago. Yet in recent weeks, during all of the lawless violence, we have seen a progression of ideas going from unthinkable to popularly endorsed. One city is officially going to abolish its police department. Chaos is already becoming the norm there. Now the same people behind this violent Marxist insurgency are calling for churches to be destroyed. History shows us that we’re following the same pattern as in every Marxist revolution: vandalism targeting specific groups, then destruction of monuments. After this comes the destruction of churches, and eventually the persecution of and mass murder of those who are ‘in the way’ of the ‘revolution.’
It’s time to put aside the gimmicks, and take on the sackcloth and ashes.
The disciples spent 3 years with the greatest preacher to ever walk the earth, and yet they never said ‘Teach us to preach.’ They said, ‘Lord, teach us to pray.’
As Leonard Ravenhill often said, no man is greater than his prayer life. So often we have replaced prayer with branding, clever marketing, programs, 6 point sermons, well-meant witnessing methods, with worry, fear, gossip, complaining, and all the silent agonies of a guilty conscience.
The gospels have no stories of Jesus praying for the sick. He simply healed them. Why? Because He had already been praying. He had a life of prayer so intimate that the life of God could flow through Him ata moment’s notice whenever it was needed.
My challenge to you today is a simple one:
- Replace worry with prayer.
Replace fear with prayer.
- Replace guilt with prayer.
- Replace gossip with prayer.
- Replace your ideas with prayer.
The very will of God is present with you by way of the indwelling Holy Spirit, so never mind whether He’s willing to answer.
His WILL is with you.
It lives INSIDE you.
Everything was already answered at Calvary.Pray.
When you are are strong, appear weak. The Art of War
With the sheer number of posts and videos online about the contuing occupation of Capitol Hill in Seattle, I began to wonder why there has been very little real prophetic insight as to what is really going on, and why it”s being permitted. There are many true statements with regard to the Mayor and Governor’s complicity being tied to the Leftist agenda and the upcoming election, but there is something much more sinister lurking beneath the surface.
When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.Proverbs 29:2
It is clear that there is a lot of groaning going on in the CHAZ, now being called CHOP (Capitol Hill Organized Protest) to avoid sedition and treason charges. Many of us have been laughing at these Antifa and BLM people and their ineptitude at everything from self-care to gardening, but when I looked at this in this spirit I heard The Art of War quote above.
While we laugh at CHAZ, CHOP, or whatever they may be calling themselves today, the movement that spawned that situation has been planning better organized, better funded, and better armed occupations of cities. We are being deliberately misled to believe that Antifa and BLM are comprised of entitled, idiotic young people who live in their parents’basement. Some of them are, but they clearly also have more sophisticated assets in play as well, and they are planning further acts of terror.
The saints need to be fasting and praying against this, or truly perilous times will be upon us for the long term.
As prophets we often make the mistake of constantly looking for the next revelation, when God wasn’t through with the last one. I’ve learned over the years that there are times when the Lord wants me to take my time ‘replaying’ a vision until I have really understood it, and usually there are details I missed the first time.Slow down.
Listen, observe, and pray into what God shows you.
Destiny is in the details.
From the beginning of this situation, I have sensed something was not right. I had sensed in my spirit that this had been planned, and within the last two days, evidence has begun to emerge that this is true. The groups who are systematically looting and destroying property are highly organized.
They are well-supplied and equipped. Pallets of bricks have been set out in the streets. Some of these people appear to have military-grade radios and repeaters. This suggests that they have a command-and-control center set up somewhere coordinating their efforts. The consistent report from local people in each city is that these bands of rioters don’t seem to know their way around, which suggests they are not the local residents.
It has now also come to light that they have phone numbers to call to be bailed out. The level of coordination involved indicates this has been planned for some time, and the death of George Floyd isn’t the real cause.
Documents have been found that appear to be strong evidence that this is a plot by demoestic enemies of our nation.
That said, what is the endgame here? What is the goal?
This is not a series of spontaneous riots. This is a war being fought to accomplish several goals, including, but not limited to:
- Increasing division
- Widespread destruction to derail any economic recovery
- Prevent the re-election of Donald Trump, because that will be the only way to avert the prosecution of many Deep State operatives and ensure the emergence of a new world order
- Undo the progress that was being made in the Black community because of the Urban Enterprise Zones created by the Trump administration.
- The destruction of America as we know it.
What then, are we to do? We need to be fasting and fervently praying for the truth to come to light, for the plans of these enemies of our nation to be thwarted, and for our communities to come together in love and unity so that we can rebuild together. We who are leaders in the church need to repent for how we have been largely negligent in our duty to our communities, and begin to once again be a source of hope and leadership. We have been ineffective in evangelism because we have not been pure in our character nor in our motives, and so our preaching has been full of men’s wisdom rather than of the power and transformative grace of God.
We cannot call our communities and nation to repent when we ourselves have been morally bankrupt.
Church leaders, I call you to repent, and seek God for mercy and wisdom as to what must be done.
Patriots, I call upon you to serve your community and help one another in whatever ways you are able.
Now, more than ever, we are all essential.
Where we go one, we go all.
4 months ago, as I addressed the complicity of church leadership in allowing unspeakable evil behind the scenes, I’d said ‘Y’all are FIRED.’
‘This word has come to pass.
Many of you pastors will NOT get your church back.
Even in this present crisis, you continue to hustle and try to cling to your influence (and the revenue it brought you).
I decree to you this day, YOUR MANTLE IS TAKEN, and YOUR STAFF IS BROKEN.
Your charisma will wither like grass in the fire, and you will find yourself losing the power you held over people. For many of you, this crisis is your last chance to repent in sackloth and ashes. For some of you, there is no place of repentance.
Repent while you can.
A new season is upon you, one in which the genuine apostolic mantle will be manifested, and you will begin to realize that you’ve been reading the Bible the way it’s been preached to you.
And it was preached to you wrong.
Get out of the way, old guard.
The Lord has taken His flock from you, and He will turn it over to shepherds after HIS heart, who LOVE his flock, and who never forget that it is HIS.
Many who were called to leadership, but were rejected by the church, have been in obscurity, preparing, being seasoned and tempered, and now they will begin to emerge.
They won’t be who you expected.
They won’t have the look or personality you’re used to.
They will, however, have a conspicuous anointing that will burn with the fire of God.
They will have the power, the presence, and the priorities of HIS kingdom.
And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.Hebrews 7:15-16
We often speak of the priesthood of every believer, and perhaps too often we are taught to pursue it by mere carnal commandments and vain religious pursuit that is merely an outward display of piety that diguises our inner life. Is Christ’s life ENDLESS in you? How far does his influence reach in our actions, decisions, emotions, and innermost thoughts and desires?
Oh God, that you would stamp eternity on my eyes and heart!
Go ye therefore, and teach ALL NATIONs…
One of the biggest lies you will ever believe in your life is that you are part of an ‘experience’ unique to your culture that no one outside that culture could ever understand or could ever be qualified to address. Jesus sent a bunch of Jewish guys to evangelize the world.
Paul went to the Greeks and Romans. Thomas went to India, and to this day, missionaries are sent by God to speak truth to people who don’t look like them.
You don’t have a black experience, a white experience, a Latin experience, an asian experience… What DO you have, then?
The ‘I got hoodwinked by satan’ experience, of which we have all been partakers. No matter what your culture, the root of every problem you face is SIN. There is good, and evil, the holy and the profane, the unclean and the clean. Everything we think is unique because of culture is just window dressing. Whether the poisoned ice cream you eat is vanilla, chocolate, or rocky road, it’s not the flavor that’s going to kill you, is it?
The cure is always the same. There is no remedy unique to your ‘experience.’
The answer is always Christ, and Him crucified.
Part of the hustle is fooling you into believing that your experience is SO unique, and this deception gives you a compelling excuse to reject any truth that isn’t validated by your particular race card. This keeps us confused, bound, divided, and easy to control by those who would capitalize on this bondage.
Are you ready to break free?
I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. (Matt. 10:16)
Something that has been recurring in my spirit lately has a sense of how so many in today’s church are lacking in discernment. We are, in many ways, suckers. I know this seems harsh, but bear with me.
It often happens in my social media feeds that numerous saints will post an article from The Babylon Bee and expound upon their outrage at what has been reported therein, not knowing that the Bee is a satire website, and fairly obviously so.
While we can also be fooled here and there, that this happens so often is an indicator that something is amiss, and it’s not the only indicator. Corporations lie to us, entire industries lie to us, governments and even spiritual leaders lie to us or otherwise deceive, and much of it goes entirely undetected. Demonic activity is often rampant in churches and families, also undetected.
In the last few years, over 100 pastors in the US have been arrested on pedophilia related charges. Some of these individuals went decades undetected, or were actively protected by their denominations and networks because of their ability to generate revenue. If indeed we are a discerning people, how are there so many of these vile people among us?
Some will argue that ‘wheat and tares grow together,’ but that’s is a flawed argument. Why? This is taken from Matthew 13:24-30, where, if we read it in its context, we will find the following facts:
- The man in the parable KNEW that the tares were tares.
- The tares did not destroy the wheat, or hinder its harvest, whereas the sexual abuse of children in the church often does lifelong harm.
- The tares will be rooted out and destroyed.
Thus we can understand that we should be able to tell the wheat from the tares, and we should be able to perceive things and people which are destructive to the harvest of souls.
What then, is the Spirit saying to the church? The Lord is calling us to repent of the blindness which many have had, willful or otherwise, and to ask that there would be a resurgence of the gift of Discernment of Spirits, so that we can put away evil from among us in accordance with 1 Corinthians 5.
Remember, little flock, it is never the will of God for us to remain ignorant to the schemes of the enemy (2 Corinthians 2:11), and He is certainly willing to open our spiritual eyes.
God bless you, and God keep you.
An incel is someone, usually a man, who believes themselves to be involuntarily celibate. They are sad people who live unloved, don’t get married, never have a family, and die alone. They probably have a high suicide rate.
When I posted about this on Facebook, I found that some Christians actually found this funny. When asked exactly what about being unloved or suicidal is funny, they go silent.
Moreover, the way in which many of us find men’s emotional or mental health problems fair game for ridicule speaks volumes as to our carnality, as well as of the general spiritual state of we who call ourselves the church. In Canada, for example, the #1 cause of death for men between 20 and 45 is SUICIDE.
Worldwide, about 78% of all suicides are men.
And the church leadership is silent.
The Lord is calling the church to repentance over many things, including our severe neglect with regard to the spiritual and emotional well-being of men.
The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. – Isaiah 26:3
What does it mean to be steadfast? The dictionary gives its meaning a resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering. The peace of God is simply not for those who will not commit their lives to God.
Now, that may sound harsh, but it is really the inner rebellion of the carnal man which persuades us that being firm and unwavering is impossible, because if it is indeed impossible, then we have ‘permission’ to waver, it becomes acceptable to be disloyal. We tend to believe whatever is conducive to justifying how we have already decided to think or behave. That being said, saints of God, it’s not impossible to be unwavering. It’s not even difficult!
Remember, He said, ‘My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:30) Commitment is a DECISION! God, through the Holy Spirit will work in you to do His good pleasure, if you truly and simply decide to trust Him (Phil. 2:13).
Will YOU dare to trust God today?
“Then you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
Consider that this says ‘make’ as opposed to ‘set.’ To be set free implies a change of circumstance, of an outward condition, whereas to be made free implies a change of identity. In Christ, we have not merely been given a change in our spiritual circumstance, but there has been a fundamental change in who we are.
Even in the natural world, a free man has rights and privileges inherent to his existence. In Christ, we have gone from being the slaves of sin, to being the Sons of God.
If we are Son, we are beloved.
If we are Sons, we are heirs.
If we are Sons, we are destined to become like Him.
Doubt and defeat are the hallmarks of our old lives. Let us remember today that the new creature in Christ has a new nature, and that nature is one of victory and liberty.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination,How much more when he brings it with evil intent! (Proverbs 21:27)
There was a businessman who used to say ‘People always have two reasons for what they do: the real reason, and one that sounds good.’ Now, perhaps he was a bit cynical, yet this holds true for most people, and I have found in ministry this is nearly always true. Yet the Bible tells us that when our motive isn’t right, even our sacrifice is an abomination. The word used in the Hebrew is ‘towébah’, which is the same word used to describe idolatry, perversion, and bestiality.
Thus we should understand that ulterior motives are a serious sin, and can contaminate even seemingly good things that we are doing. Saints, it’s time to re-evaluate our motives.
We’re not just going to be judged on what we did, but WHY we did it.
I ‘m not impressed by ‘master prophets,’ and neither is God.
Moses parted the Red Sea.
Joshua stopped the sun.
Jesus defeated death itself.
Yet none of them ever called themselves ‘Master Prophet,’ ‘Major Prophet,’ or any of the absurdly arrogant titles being thrown around now.
Prophets, the world does not need you to have some lofty title. What the world needs from you is a real word from God that actually comes to pass.
As I prepare to sell my house and move on with my life, I’ve been making plans. Plans for life, business, and ministry have all been on my mind, and the Lord had me thinking of the details necessary to achieve my mission.
As I pondered all of this, another thought crossed my mind: many of us want to prosper financially but have no real vision for what we’d do if we did.
Yes, God blessed Israel when He brought them into what preachers like to call the land of more than enough, but did you notice that what He blessed them with was production capacity? That’s right, they still had to put that land to work. They still had to decide what they were going to do with all that capacity.
Before God brought them there, He walked them through a long season of preparation for it, and when they got there, they had to fight for it. We are walking through a very difficult time.
- What are you doing with it to ensure you are surrendering to God’s process?
- What are you doing with what God has already given you?
- What are your plans for when He does give you what you’re asking for, and are those plans right in His sight?
The answers to those questions will reveal a great deal.
