The Severity of the situation

And they shall not take of the a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate forever.

Jeremiah 51:26

The church and its leaders do not understand the severity of the situation America faces right now. I opened my Bible, and my eyes fell on the verse above, just as I had been messaging back and forth with a dear saint about the various camps there are in the church with regard to America and judgment.

Now, I am not saying that America is absolutely doomed. Rather, I saw a great smoking ruin, and a devastation that could not be undone. I believe what I saw was what would happen if we as a nation were to receieve what we deserve for our national sins, which are abundant. However, at the same time, I am persuaded that we are, as a nation being called to repentance after decades of stubborn refusal to turn from our sins as a nation, from the more obvious sins of unnecessary wars and abortion, to the stealthier, pervasive sins of accepting moral turpitude as normal and the absolute corruption of industries who could do great good but choose instead to suppress beneficial innovations for the sake of profit and control, or which use their influence to steer the culture further into sin.

What we are seeing in this nation, from violence in the streets, to rogue governors imposing tyrannical orders and teachers refusing to go back to work unless police are defunding is a manifestation. Every “sleeper” of what the nation had thought was a fringe element of Marxist radicals has been awakened and activated. Yet there is more to this than Marxism.

Marxism, and the violent, oppressive movements it engenders, serves as a prophetic sign of deep, absolute bondage. In America, what has allowed to fester has now become systemic, like an infection which is ignored and becomes gangrene. Spiritually, this is like a man being taken over by the demonic influences he has allowed to have room in his life. At some point, he is no longer in control, but rather ruled by the impulses of the spirits which have taken root in his life. Likewise, as nation, an interconnected set of rdical ideologies have festered and now have momentum, with little indication that they will be stopped.

I asked the Lord, “Will you slay the just with the unjust?” and was met with silence. I then asked, “If there were 50 righteous, would you still destroy it?”

The number needed is higher, and the horrifying truth is that because so much sin has been tolerated, even encouraged, in the church, the real number of the authentically righteous is so low that national judgment cannot be averted.

Is it therefore hopeless? No. We must all repent, and call others to repentance. We must humble ourselves, repent even of the cultural influences we have made into idols, and allow God to remake our hearts as He intended.

It is primarily those of us who are leaders in the church who must repent. The fathers among us must rend their hearts before God and turn from sin in every way, even many things we have not even regarded as sin, from our self will in how we have led His people, to the commercialization of the Faith.

Repent and turn, leaders, or you will indeed be among the first partakers of what is coming.

The Illusions of Leadership

I was in worship, and in a moment of time the Lord showed me a vision depicting the spiritual state of much of the leadership in the contemporary church. Later, He said to me, ‘I am breaking the illusion.’

I stood on a cliff, high, but not at the top of a great mountain, and saw a vast plain before the sea. Far below was the leadership of the church, at ground level, with a scant few on small hills. They looked out to sea, and seemed unaware of the mountain at their backs. They had neither the courage to go into the deep, nor the awareness to climb the heights, but they stood there, some in smug satisfaction with where they stood.

The awful truth, hidden under many layers of pious phraseology, shallow theology, and a great many convincing but learned behaviors which can create an image of maturity, is that much of the leadership of the church has not matured, has not been delivered, and is not purified from many of the sinful influences of the world. Some of these influences are so pervasive, so subtle, that we are not only able to discern them for what they are, but we even embrace and defend them as inherent to our culture, character, temperament, or whatever ‘necessities’ we may conjure up to excuse ourselves from the inconvenient burdens of a guilty conscience.

God is again calling us to examine ourselves. We are often unable to adequately address the issues of our time and our culture because we are on the same level as the culture itself. We have not launched away from it into the depths, nor have we risen above it, and we are usually unaware that we are more submitted to culture than to Christ. There is a deeper repentance needed, so that we will realize where we have been, and that it is low. There is a further purification necessary to be able to address the culture from a heart uncluttered by that culture and unfettered by carnality.

Arise, repent, and be purified, so that you can become who God intended you to be. A lost and broken world awaits you.

The Great Awakening

I gave my new journal a title. The Great Awakening. The Lord has been taking me into a different place prophetically as of late, away from the personal prophecy flow we’re largely used to in the church, and into a place of prophetic insight into culture, politics, and religion.

I’m seeing some things which I’m not yet ready to articulate, but which I think may be instrumental to a spiritual awakening unlike any I’ve witnessed thus far.

A lot of what He will give me to share will make you uncomfortable. It may even offend you. But I will go there. Because someone has to.

You won’t get there by striving.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 1:1-3

I passed under my apple trees and noticed that my apples are now less than an inch across. In another 10-12 weeks, they’ll probably be edible.I don’t water my apple trees, because this property has springs of water under it, less than 20 feet down. This is what sustains all the blueberry, strawberry, chokeberry and dewberry bushes here. They require no effort from me… I just have to pick the berries.
Likewise, God is calling us to put your roots down in Him. Becoming who He intends us to be isn’t about striving.

When you love God above all, fruit is inevitable.

And just like with an apple tree, the fruit can go further than you will.

You never have to TRY to prophesy

Beware any ‘prophetic’ movement which encourages you to ‘try’ to prophesy, or to ‘exercise the prophetic muscle.’ There was NEVER any prophet in scripture who was in right standing with God who ever needed to TRY or exercise in prophecy. Either the Word of the Lord came to them, or it did not.The basis for all REAL prophecy is not only that GOD has revealed something to someone, but that he has directed them to disclose what he revealed. (Deut 18:20). Nowhere in Scripture does any holy prophet of God draw on any source other than God for inspiration. Some will say God told Jeremiah ‘What do you see?’ God said that because he was showing Jeremiah something. When Daniel interpreted dreams or the writing on the wall, he interpreted messages which came from God, and relied ONLY on God for inspiration. When a priest would inquire of the Lord and the Urim and Thummim were used, they were never a source of inspiration, but merely a means by which God answered ‘yes’ or ‘no.’ They inquired of the LORD. The only incidents in scripture in which people used objects or images to inspire them with regard to their spiritual life are ALWAYS incidents involving idolatry, witchcraft, and false prophetic utterance.Call this ‘book smarts’ if you want, there are no idle details in the word of God, and the Holy Spirit inspired its authorship. Therefore, any patterns and paradigms therein are present with a purpose, and not to be disregarded. If it was the Holy Spirit who inspired these very specific things to be written, the Holy Spirit would not be ‘leading’ people into ‘prophetic’ practices which are contrary to the proclamations, prohibitions, prescriptions, patterns, and paradigms of HIS book. Many are being drawn into this deception, and are inevitably snared by the new age witchcraft which has become so common in charismatic circles today. Brethren, please pray for eyes to be opened… this deception runs far deeper in the church world than you may suspect.

A word to leadership in lockdown

4 months ago, as I addressed the complicity of church leadership in allowing unspeakable evil behind the scenes, I’d said ‘Y’all are FIRED.’

‘This word has come to pass.

Many of you pastors will NOT get your church back.

Even in this present crisis, you continue to hustle and try to cling to your influence (and the revenue it brought you).

I decree to you this day, YOUR MANTLE IS TAKEN, and YOUR STAFF IS BROKEN.

Your charisma will wither like grass in the fire, and you will find yourself losing the power you held over people. For many of you, this crisis is your last chance to repent in sackloth and ashes. For some of you, there is no place of repentance.

Repent while you can.

A New Apostolic Era has Begun

GET READY!

A new season is upon you, one in which the genuine apostolic mantle will be manifested, and you will begin to realize that you’ve been reading the Bible the way it’s been preached to you.

And it was preached to you wrong.

ON PURPOSE.

Get out of the way, old guard.

The Lord has taken His flock from you, and He will turn it over to shepherds after HIS heart, who LOVE his flock, and who never forget that it is HIS.

Many who were called to leadership, but were rejected by the church, have been in obscurity, preparing, being seasoned and tempered, and now they will begin to emerge.

They won’t be who you expected.
They won’t have the look or personality you’re used to.

They will, however, have a conspicuous anointing that will burn with the fire of God.

They will have the power, the presence, and the priorities of HIS kingdom.

A word on Peace in these times

The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You. – Isaiah 26:3

What does it mean to be steadfast? The dictionary gives its meaning a resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering. The peace of God is simply not for those who will not commit their lives to God.

Now, that may sound harsh, but it is really the inner rebellion of the carnal man which persuades us that being firm and unwavering is impossible, because if it is indeed impossible, then we have ‘permission’ to waver, it becomes acceptable to be disloyal. We tend to believe whatever is conducive to justifying how we have already decided to think or behave. That being said, saints of God, it’s not impossible to be unwavering. It’s not even difficult!

Remember, He said, ‘My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:30) Commitment is a DECISION! God, through the Holy Spirit will work in you to do His good pleasure, if you truly and simply decide to trust Him (Phil. 2:13).

Will YOU dare to trust God today?

Loud sounding gong? A Word on ‘harsh’ prophecies

Delivering a prophecy that seems harsh to our modern sensibilities doesn’t make you a loud-sounding gong without love, contrary to the absolute tripe being taught today.

There was once a prophet who said things like:

Generation of vipers! (Matt. 12:34)
Though you are exalted to heaven, you shall be brought down to hell. (Luke 10:15)
I will profess to them ‘Depart from me, ye who work iniquity, for I never knew you.’ (Matt. 7:23)

He also cursed a defenseless tree for not having fruit.

Who was this mean old ogre of a prophet?

JESUS.

Today’s teaching on how the prophetic must always be uplifiting would condemn JESUS as not having love.

The truth is that we often fail to understand what the Bible teaches because we read it the way it’s been erroneously preached to us. Prophecy is for edification, exhortation, and comfort, but this does not mean it will always be comfortable.

In the US Marine Corps, my Drill Sergeants edified me, getting me into the greatest shape I’ve ever been in. They exhorted with tremendous intensity. Their training is now a comfort when there’s an emergency or danger of any kind.

Some may argue that we’re still supposed to be gentle, but not all situations call for what we now regard as gentle.

Feel free to call me harsh.

The lake of fire is harsher than anything I could possibly say to you.

Am I your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Cutting off all contact with the false prophet.

Cutting off all contact with the false prophet. This is absolutely crucial to your restoration if you have been victimized by a false prophet. Many saints make the mistake of keeping in touch with a false prophet, or continuing to watch/listen to their ministry programming, and this is a grave mistake because in so doing they are exposing themselves to the false anointing of that prophet and the spirits that accompany it.

Now, some will advocate forgiveness, and it is commendable to forgive. However, this doesn’t mean we should continue to expose ourselves to something unwholesome. If the prophet is continuing in operating in error, we can forgive without granting that person access to us. You could forgive someone for stealing your car, but that doesn’t mean you throw them the keys afterward, especially if you know they’re still stealing cars! Remember, we are to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), and 1 Corinthians 5 does instruct us to shun those who claim to be brethren but who refuse to turn from sin.

Mentoring Emerging prophets

Some prophets ‘turn to the Dark Side,’ so to speak because of a lack of specific Mentoring for their calling. The emerging prophet needs sound discipleship and oversight, as well as safe and accountable environment in which to exercise his gift. Over the years, I’ve mentored quite a few prophets who felt frustrated in their church because they’d hear from God but were actively discouraged from using their gift, or because they weren’t learning how to handle the revelations they were receiving. Still others found themselves overwhelmed with demonic attacks for which they received little or no real support. Pastors, the devil wants your prophets! It is best that you give prayerful consideration to how you might safeguard them from the specific threats they face.

Now, what you do with regard to this may vary, depending on any specific guidance that the Holy Spirit may give you for your particular flock. Nevertheless, here are some things you can do with emerging prophets:

  1. A weekly prayer gathering for the prophets with mature leadership to oversee it.

  1. Specific time set aside for the prophets to exercise their gifts outside of the regular service times, with prophecies being judged and constructive feedback being given.

  1. Prayer assignments for the prophets.

  1. Prophetic assignments.

  2. Specific Bible study assignments to further their personal development.

  1. A dedicated team of intercessors to pray for the prophets.

  2. Thorough training on the gift and office

Remember, as a leader, it’s your job to defend the flock, and a big part of that is by ensuring that your emerging prophets are not seduced by the enemy.

Why you don’t get the prophecies you hoped for

God’s MIGHTIEST Prophet? Really?

Mastering the Art of Prophetic Disclosure

It’s not enough to have heard or otherwise perceived something prophetically. We must also know when to diclose what God has revealed, to whom it is to be disclosed, and how that disclosure is to take place.

What to do when a prophetic word FAILS to come to pass

Over the years I’ve run into many people who were disappointed, disillusioned, discouraged and disgusted because of how so many prophecies fail to come to pass in the church. So often when this is addressed, if it’s addressed at all, they are given excuses or are blamed for the prophetic word’s failure. But is it always the receiver’s fault?

Let’s talk about why prophetic words fail and what to do about it.

What to do when a Prophetic Word FAILS to come to pass

It often happens that a prophet delivers a word which fails to come to pass, and the recipient of the word is either blamed for not having enough faith, or for not meeting the ‘conditions’ of the prophecy, even if those conditions were never stated. So then, what are we in the church to do when this happens?

Why YOU aren’t Prospering

Have you ever wondered why it is so many prophets try to convince you that they key to your prosperity it giving THEM money, yet year after year, decade after decade the saints stay broke? Let’s discus the REAL reasons why you’re not prospering the way you could be, and how to turn that around NOW.

Delusions, Confusion and Prophetic Collusion

There’s a whole lot of crazy stuff that goes on in prophetic ministry. The other day I had some prophet telling me that their nonsensical ‘prophecy’ was ‘the teacheth of the Holy Spirit,’ and further informed me that God had said so… let’s talk.

Stop chasing prophecies!

God never intended for you to be chasing after a prophetic word every day. This insatiable addiction to prophecy I’ve seen in churches and in Facebook groups is not from God, and it renders people highly susceptible to seduction by the familiar spirits that some ‘prophets’ move in.
To some extent this happens because the leadership of the segment of the church which believes in the prophetic has created a dependency which gives the prophet an idolatrous place in the life of the believer.

Feeling discouraged and need a boost? In 1 Samuel 30, when David and his men returned to Ziklag to find that the enemy had burned their homes and taken their families captive, his men started talking about stoning him, because they clearly blamed him for being away from home when the enemies came. He didn’t go looking for a prophet to comfort or encourage him:

And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. (1 Sam. 30:6)

Later in the chapter, he DOES inquire of the Lord for himself, not for encouragement, but for direction. He then takes his men and goes after the enemy. The recover EVERYTHING, and take additional spoils. David then uses his share of the spoils to send gifts to the leaders of Israel in the towns and cities David frequented.
What can we learn from this? The answer to your need for encouragement isn’t always in some prophet, but often in your own mouth, and when you ACT on the word of the Lord, God will position you not just for restoration, but for promotion, IF we ACT, and then use the fruit of our action to bless OTHERS.
When David sent those gifts, it wasn’t just about their inherent value. It also made a statement: I’m your king, I fight OUR enemies, and when I do, I do it for YOU, too… that even when David was fighting for his family and the families of his men, he still thought of the rest of Israel and its leaders. This communicated to them that they could trust David to think of them, even when handling his own personal business.
Are you called to leadership? Stop chasing prophecies, and ACT on the prophetic words you’ve been given already. God and his prophets will still have more to say.

Secrets of the Prophetic Life

There’s so much about life in the prophetic life that should be obvious, even common sense, but in today’s world of widespread chicanery, they may as well be secrets. Much of this has more to do with habits of character than it does with any mystical or spooky experiences that so many prophets claim t have. Let’s talk about some of the things that contribute to a consistent and clear prophetic flow.

Brian Carn, the Lord rebuke you

;nbsp
It recently came to light that Brian Carn’s ‘prophecies’ for 2015 were plagiarized from a psychic who posted the same predictions 11 months before he did. Rather than repent, Brian has refused to admit to any wrongdoing. Let’s discuss why this is a huge problem…

Prophetic Paintings? Really?

I’ll never be a fan of so-called prophetc painting. Why?

First, there’s the issue of creating an IMAGE for a religious purpose. Too much like a golden calf for my liiking.

Second, people are calling their paintings ‘prophetic,’ but by definition, to be prophetic, something must have and deliver a clear message from God or have been directly inspired by Him. I’ve yet to see any that do either.

Paint if you enjoy it, but in a world where what people need is Christ and him crucified, it seems blasphemous to presume our artwork to be prophetic while people die and go to hell all around us without us ever uttering a single word in the interest of their salvation.

STOP Selling Prophecies!

Useful Idiots

Let’s face it. Samson made bad decisions, and God used him in spite of his bad judgment and lack of reverence for what God had given him. Similarly, many of us are stuck on stupid in a lot of ways, and like Samson we end up thinking we’re doing well because God has used us…

Here we continue our study of Samson as a powerful example of what it is to be a useful idiot within the Kingdom. That may seem harsh, but close observatios of Samson’s decisions reveals some serious defects of character which we can readily see in today’s church.

When I was a kid, I thought Samson was SO cool, but as a man I think he’s a jerk! Samson was so arrogant and irresponsible that God had to use his mess to get him to actually USE what God put in him. Let’s talk about how we can avoid being a useful idiot in the kingdom.

Do you REALLY want a Prophetic Mentor?

Talking sense moment:

Some of the saints will say they want mentorship when the truth is that they are just hoping to establish a relationship with the prophet in order to be prophesied to on a regular basis. That’s not mentorship.

A real mentor in the Body, especially a prophet, if he’s worth his salt, is going to push you to SEEK GOD FOR YOURSELF. He will hold you accountable, question you in detail about your prayer life, your study of the word, and your conduct and character in the world at large.

A mentor may hold your hand in a crisis, but most of the time what you’ll get from a real prophetic mentor is the rebuke your pastor’s too scared to give you, the kick in the pants your daddy didn’t give you, and the accountability you’re able to run from everywhere else.

And if that mentor is a certain short, bald, broken-nosed prophet with a limp, he’s not going to dance around the issues with you, but is more likely to hit you in the face with the truth you need to hear every time you talk to him.

Why? Because otherwise, he’s not just wasting his time and yours, but he’s wasting God’s time.

A Change is coming

A change is coming
a prophetic word concerning 2015 and beyond

———————————————————————————————–

As I’d said earlier, I have for a while now felt as though something is coming. I’d prayed about it, but received no further clarification, and had gone to bed when I heard ‘Isaiah 26.’ So I turned the light back on and opened my Bible.

Isaiah 26 gives us a song that will be sung by God’s people after the completion of the judgments spoken of in chapters 24 and 25. It testifies of God’s goodness to His people and His rightful severity toward the wicked.

There were several verses which stood out to me in particular.

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord. (v 9-10)

I found it odd that this would stand out as strongly as it did, because the overall feeling I had about what was coming was not bad. I’d felt quite peaceful, in fact. Isaiah 26 seems to also explain this to some extent in verses 3-4:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

While this definitely seemed to apply to the calm I’ve been feeling in the Spirit, and I felt as though something good was on the way, I also felt as though something terrible was on the horizon, as well, though it did not and does not trouble me. It was then that I began to hear some phrases and felt a need to pray into this some more to know what was going on.

Now, do not take these things as being ‘negative,’ or ‘doom and gloom.’ There is good coming, but these things must be addressed before we get to the good stuff. So please read on.

Systemic sin
This was the first thing I heard at that point. The very religious systems in which God’s people have been functioning are troubled by sin which pervades them. The institutional church system has for some time now chosen to ignore God’s instruction concerning how to deal with sin within the church, and this tendency has spread to where it is now part of the many traditions of men which rule the church today.

Institutional apostasy
‘My people have abandoned my instruction.’ As an institution, much of the church’s persistence in seeking to please men has transitioned its state from error to apostasy.

This apostasy has been some time in the making, and runs so deep that many of us no longer know the true gospel, and many sit in churches, unsaved, and still others sit in the churches so deceived about the identity and character of God that they live in rebellion against Him. Their error is so thorough that many of them dismiss correction as ‘judgmental,’ ‘reliigious,’ or ‘legalistic,’ because they have trusted their leaders who taught them to disregard the Word.

However, deception is a cooperative act. We are usually only deceived when there’s something we want or think we want involved. Much of the deception in the church has been made possible by our own carnal tendency to want to remain as we are. So much of the watered-down gospel being taught gives us ‘permission’ to misbehave, and so many of us are willing to believe it simply because it agrees with what the flesh and our own corrupt nature want.

Leaders’ complicity.
There is so much going on in the world about which the leaders of the church remain silent. Just one example is the vast global networks of child sexual exploitation that extend even into the governmental agencies which are supposed to protect children. In America alone, 800,000 children disappear each year, and the church is, for the most part silent. This silence is both disturbing and revealing. There is much more that could be said, but let it suffice for now to say that more than a few ‘church’ leaders are directly involved in this and other abominations.

Judgment is coming.
The financial fiascoes of 2008 and 2009 were just the beginning. As Isaiah 26:4 says, we will need to ‘Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength’

Quiet calamity.
The next phrase I heard after this was ‘quiet calamity,’ and the Lord showed me that there will be a continued shifting of doctrines to more closely match the Luciferian agenda. This has already been taking place, and has until recently been gradual. Now that much of its groundwork is done in terms of causing God’s people to disregard the sovereignty of His Word, it will accelerate with little protest in many mainstream circles. There will be increased demonic activity among ministries.

Open calamity.
There will also be obvious calamities. I don’t feel led to go into detail about this, but rather I feel as though the Lord will carry His people through them. We’re going to need to really trust Him.

A remnant awakening.

Now, for the good stuff. There is a release coming to the faithful among us. It’s not so much that things will become easy, but rather that the appointed time approaches for many of us.

Many among us seem to have been rejected, shut down, shut out, abandoned, or perpetually in an uphill battle for mere survival. These things, however, are going to be overturned.

General quarters
God is calling many of you to awaken!

Dictionary.com gives this definition for general quarters:

A condition of readiness for combat on a warship, during which crew members remain at their battle stations and have guns and ammunition ready for immediate loading.

Your favor is coming, your increase is coming, your release into God’s purpose is coming, but every good thing that is on its way is coming to equip and sustain you for the battles which are both imminent and arising. This is not merely a call for each one of us to be ready for spiritual warfare, but rather a call to our specific positions within the kingdom as a whole. So many of us, especially those of us in the work of the ministry have been doing battle in the small units which we’ve been a part of, and have never moved beyond small group tactics in our warfare. We have lacked cohesive, unified strategy, and God is calling for many of us to come together not for mere cooperation, but for real unity.

Many ministries have been languishing under attack by the enemy without making much headway, but this, too is being overturned. God will be raising up new apostolic voices who will provide vision and direction for His people that will overcome and overwhelm the enemy. Beware, however, those who claim apostolic authority and seek to impose their ‘covering’ upon you without inspiring you to follow their leadership and without providing any clear vision.

The genuine apostolic leadership which God is raising up will be characterized by humility, fidelity to and revelation in the Word, and real authority to deal with the forces of the enemy.

Your favor is in your faithfulness.
Yes, God does grant unmerited favor, and yet there is favor that can only be granted when we can be trusted with it. It is time to grow up and put away every childish and petty thing which has rendered us incapable of being trusted with vision.

For some of us, it’s time to lay aside the tendency to be so easily offended. Some of you need to go eat some crow, mend some fences, and bake some humble pie. Others need to realize that forgiveness is not an emotion – it’s a decision! Where God wants to take you, you can’t be burdened with petty grievances and offenses. So many of the things we get offended by or hold grudges over won’t matter in eternity, and many of them don’t even matter now. It is time for some of us to admit that thee is a certain degree of emotional, carnal satisfaction in holding a grudge. Saints of God, this is beneath you, and it denies you the riches of the kingdom.

Others among us need to renew their commitment to God’s purpose and let go of personal agendas. For many of you, your self-interest is the greatest hindrance to your blessing and release. I challenge you today to take your self-interest, ambition, desire for respect and admiration and every other carnal objective to the altar and let God burn it. God can do more with the ashes than you could ever do with a life that is not yielded.

The greater works are not separate from the lesser ones.
While I was waiting for clarification on what God was showing me, I listened to an old sermon by Leonard Ravenhill, and at one point he mentioned how people in ministry were always talking about how the church would do greater works and he commented ‘I’d like to see some of the lesser ones first.’ So many in the church who do believe in the supernatural works of God have for some time now been too fascinated by ‘signs and wonders,’ while at the same time rejecting the inner work of the Spirit, and this is evident in the rampant sin which continues in the midst of the contrived ‘revivals’ which have had no real impact on the communities in which they occur.

Can YOU be trusted with the glory?
An honest answer to this question will reveal the extent to which you life will manifest God’s power. For most of us, our pursuit of God has been squandered on our ow immediate needs, wants, desires, and ambitions, and we have by this tendency to be selfish so often rendered ourselves incapable of being trusted with what God desires to commit to our hands.

If we will repent of our selfishness, childishness, carnality and rebellion, and pursue God with a whole heart committed to HIS way, we will experience some major shifts with regard to our situation, or vision, and the extent of our kingdom participation.

Divine supply.
If we are faithful, we will see not just His goodness, but His bounty. I am not saying that God is going to make us rich or prosperous on the world’s terms, but that He will supply our need in ways we have not seen up to this point. He is looking to prepare you to properly steward His supply not just for your own exclusive benefit, but rather for the good of His people.

Fruitfuless.
Many ministries and businesses which have struggled will begin to flourish and become productive. Some of you are going to be called to specific patterns of consecration to receive strategy and clarity of vision. This is going to lead to far more productive effort without being so busy with things that don’t matter or aren’t conducive to His purpose.

For some of you, this is going to mean putting away the drama, the ego, the oversensitivity, and selfish ambition. For those who heed this, God is going to bring a hush upon the noise in your life and show you how to get more done being still before Him than you ever could with all your anxious busy-ness.

Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the Lord. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. (Isaiah 54:1-3)

Prepare for your increase!

Are you praying for financial increase? Start stewarding what you have now with better faithfulness. Are you in lack? Eliminate wastefulness and things which are not necessary. Yes, God can bring you into abundance, but thrift and wisdom now will prepare you to put that abundance to far better use.

Are you called to preach? Prepare your sermons. Preach them to yourself if you have to, but preach them. While you do this, LIVE your sermons. Lay before the Lord and ask Him to bring you through the process of being the first partaker of the word he puts in you.

Are you called to missions? Pray for the regions God has placed on your heart. Intercede, fast, and weep for the souls God has appointed to you. Seek Him daily for guidance on where you need to go, who you need to go to, and why.

Are you called to prophesy? Learn to be still, to be silent, and to listen to the Lord with an attentive heart. I heard ‘Go hide thyself,’ and then looked it up and found myself once again in Isaiah 26:

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast (Isaiah 26:20)

There is an exodus underway. So many have stewarded the prophetic so poorly that they have rendered it to be little more than a horoscope or a psychic reading, and there are many among the flock which now operate in divination by familiar spirits and not the Spirit of God.

God is calling His remnant away from the prophets who would have you dependent upon them for a word when God called you to live by faith. God’s judgment is coming upon the prophets who have misused the gift and office, and upon those who have flocked to them because their desire for a word has been far greater than their desire to seek God for themselves. Take heed! There is a lying spirit that is coming upon many prophets that is going to ensnare many. If you have been chasing prophecies, repent!

For those who do repent, the Lord is going to lead you out into a place of abundant revelation and prophetic clarity that you have never experienced before.

A proliferation of the miraculous is coming.
God is going to use His remnant in the working of miracles, but most of it will not be for general public consumption. This also comes down to whether we can be trusted with the influence that the miraculous brings.

Saints of the Most High God, the Lord is calling us to a closer walk, to true accountability, and to rightful stewardship, but also to repentance from every tendency, habit, and character flaw that we have refuse to let go of up to this point. Who among you will weep between the porch and the altar? Who will take up the sackcloth and ashes? Who will cry aloud and spare not?

Saints of God, a release is coming. Will you be ready to receive it?

The ‘Secret’ to 100% Prophetic Accuracy

Prophetic accuracy isn’t rocket science, and contrary to what’s commonly taught today, 100% accuracy is not just possible, but it ought to be the norm. How then, can we ensure that we hear clearly from God so that we always deliver a timely, accurate word?

I decree and declare! Oh, Really?

These days a lot of prophets have been busy in social media and elsewhere, telling folks that they have the authority to speak int someone’s life, and that God will make their word come to pass. Usually this belief comes with ‘decrees’ and ‘declarations’ in which they assert that if you type ‘amen’ or click that like button, you will receive whatever blessing they happen to be pronouncing on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.

Let’s examine this claim in the light of scripture. What does the Bible have to say about this?

Is the Prophet ‘better’ than the teacher?

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

The very first reason why God inspired apostles and prophets to write scripture is DOCTRINE, also known as teaching.

Thus we must understand prophetic is not ‘better’ or more important than teaching Yes, the Apostles and Prophets are the foundation of the church, but remember this: they are sent to preach the gospel and to TEACH people the ways of God. Think about this for a moment.

To even be a prophet, at some point someone had to TEACH you how to speak. Someone taught you to write, to communicate, and so on. How would you recognize the word of the Lord if you’d never learned to speak?

When a prophet comes with a warning, for example, like Jonah did, the people who heard the warning LEARNED that God was displeased, and that judgment was coming if they did not repent. Thus very often the prophet teaches, even if he’s not expressly a teacher.

Remember also that Jesus taught more than he preached, and in the end preaching teaches, because it often introduces new information to those hearing it. Thus teaching is inseparable from the apostolic and prophetic office.

Now, let’s also understand something about someone who is a teacher, but neither apostle nor prophet nor evangelist nor pastor. They are not ‘lesser’ than the others. Do not despise the teacher, and learn not to look at the prophetic office some somehow more desireable. Yes, we ought to desire to prophesy, but when Paul said this in 1 Corinthians 14:39, he taught this in the context of pursuing the gifts in the context of exercising the love of God, which is never selfish, and too often when we look to the prophetic as more desirable not because of its kingdom function and purpose, but because of our ego and the vain desire for recognition.

I challenge you today to examine yourself and your perspective of the prophetic.

What to do with a real prophetic word

For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry. (Habakkuk 2:3)
What to do with a prophetic word:

God never intended for us to chase after prophecies, and no, you don’t ‘need’ a word for every situation you’re in. The Bible says that the just shall live by FAITH, not by prophecy. I’ve got some heavy situations going on right now, and I DON’T want a word about it. I’ve decided I’m going to trust that God didn’t lie to me, that he hasn’t forgotten me, and that my appointed time will come. There’s a time and place for a word, and there’s a time for FAITH which produces works (see James 2).
What then, should you do with a prophetic word? Assuming you’ve tested it and it really was a word from God…
1. Wait for it to come to pass (Hab. 2:3)
2. Speak it back to God
3. Pray concerning it
4. Take action in accordance with the word
5. Ask yourself, ‘What do I need to be doing to position myself to receive what God promised?’ This is NOT in the sense of earning it, but rather in the sense of being ready to handle the responsibility of stewarding the blessing.
6. Ask God the same question.
7. Do what is necessary from #5 and 6.
8. Study scripture related to what God told you.
9. Keep your life CLEAN. The angels don’t cry ‘love, love, love.’ They cry ‘holy, holy, holy.’
