You ARE free

“Then you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)

Consider that this says ‘make’ as opposed to ‘set.’ To be set free implies a change of circumstance, of an outward condition, whereas to be made free implies a change of identity. In Christ, we have not merely been given a change in our spiritual circumstance, but there has been a fundamental change in who we are.

Even in the natural world, a free man has rights and privileges inherent to his existence. In Christ, we have gone from being the slaves of sin, to being the Sons of God.

If we are Son, we are beloved.
If we are Sons, we are heirs.
If we are Sons, we are destined to become like Him.

Doubt and defeat are the hallmarks of our old lives. Let us remember today that the new creature in Christ has a new nature, and that nature is one of victory and liberty.

Why Joseph Prince is going to Hell

I know. That sounds harsh. But Jesus told those who refused to believe Hi that they would die in their sins, eve though they were of the seed of Abraham, men He’d come to save. So, des a man truly believe Christ if he contraicts Jesus outright? In Revelation 2:17, Jesus makes it clear that the Holy Spirit can and does convict believers of sin, and does point out their faults, so Joseph Prince is teaching a lie…

Do you REALLY want a Prophetic Mentor?

Talking sense moment:

Some of the saints will say they want mentorship when the truth is that they are just hoping to establish a relationship with the prophet in order to be prophesied to on a regular basis. That’s not mentorship.

A real mentor in the Body, especially a prophet, if he’s worth his salt, is going to push you to SEEK GOD FOR YOURSELF. He will hold you accountable, question you in detail about your prayer life, your study of the word, and your conduct and character in the world at large.

A mentor may hold your hand in a crisis, but most of the time what you’ll get from a real prophetic mentor is the rebuke your pastor’s too scared to give you, the kick in the pants your daddy didn’t give you, and the accountability you’re able to run from everywhere else.

And if that mentor is a certain short, bald, broken-nosed prophet with a limp, he’s not going to dance around the issues with you, but is more likely to hit you in the face with the truth you need to hear every time you talk to him.

Why? Because otherwise, he’s not just wasting his time and yours, but he’s wasting God’s time.

Should we try to prophesy by trial and error?

” The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:  To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.  It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.  Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.  Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.  ¶But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. ”

– Jeremiah 1:1-7
